Then you’ve come to the right place. Join us as Treasurer in bringing together the
sustainability interests of students all across Switzerland, giving them a common voice, and
making sure that everybody knows about it. We are looking for a board member who has
basic knowledge in accounting.

What you’ll be doing as the Treasurer of VSN-FDD-FSS

❖Keep Our Finances in Check – Manage the financial affairs and compliance of VSNFDD-FSS and ensure everything runs smoothly and                                                                                     transparently.
❖Budgeting & Planning – Prepare the annual budget, track expenses, and help create financial plans that support our sustainability projects.
❖Lead Financial Reporting – Oversee the annual accounts and provide clear insights into financial transactions.
❖Drive Impact Together – Work closely with our teams to manage budgets effectively, ensuring our sustainability projects have the financial                                                                 support they need to make a real difference.

You are

Passionate About Sustainability – You want to contribute to a greener future and support sustainability initiatives in Swiss universities.
Interested in Financial Matters – You enjoy working with numbers, budgeting, or bookkeeping and are eager to develop your financial management skills.
A Student or Recent Graduate – Ideally, you’ve had some exposure to student
engagement and/or sustainability, but enthusiasm is what truly matters.
Comfortable with Basic English – You can communicate in English, and any additional
knowledge of German, French, or Italian is a plus!
Motivated to Learn & Grow – You’re excited to take on new challenges, gain hands-on
experience, and develop valuable skills in a supportive team.
Committed to Making an Impact – You can dedicate around 2 hours per week to shaping
meaningful projects and creating real change.

We are

The VSN-FDD-FSS is the Swiss Association of Student Organizations for Sustainability. We are
a national student-led network that connects and empowers students from Swiss higher
education institutions to actively engage in sustainability.
As an organization by students, for students, we collaborate with universities, student
associations like VSS-UNES, NGOs, and key stakeholders from the public and private sectors
to drive meaningful change. Our work includes:

communities.
❖ Advocating for stronger sustainability measures within higher education institutions.
❖ Hosting workshops, events, and networking opportunities to equip students with skills
